Welcome to Troop 460

intro

Troop 460 Boy Scouts, serving Mt. Airy and its surrounding communities since 1949. We provide opportunities for youths from 6th – 12th grade to experience the outdoors, learn outdoor skills, provide community service, and grow through leadership experiences in a well-structured program. We meet on Monday nights in the heart of Mt. Airy at Calvary United Methodist Church, our sponsoring organization. We also have meetings and troop camping at our Winding Trails cabin which is our private camping site. In addition to our weekly meetings, we take advantage of all our area has to offer with our many outdoor adventures. Every summer, we enjoy local summer camps, and we form a High Adventure crew that travels across the country for those once in a lifetime trips! Learning life skills has never been more fun!

Through our active boys, active parents, and active leaders we maintain a fun, safe environment that teaches our young men the values and morals they need to become outstanding citizens in our community and nation.

For information on joining Troop 460 contact us at Membership@Troop460.com. We are always accepting new members. You're invited to our next meeting, and we cannot wait for you to join the adventure!
